Visual Design

A modernised account settings experience that brings Profile and Membership & Billing in line with the premium Soho House brand standard.

Project Agenda

  1. Problem statement

The Account Settings section, covering Profile and Membership & Billing, relied on an outdated visual design that felt inconsistent with the rest of the app. For a premium membership product, this created a trust gap at one of the most identity-sensitive touchpoints members interact with.

  1. Pipeline

Audit the existing settings flow against brand and iOS guidelines, identify visual inconsistencies, define the updated design language, then apply it across Profile and Billing screens with full component documentation.

  1. Timeline

8 weeks to redesign, iterate, and hand off the updated screens including edge cases and interaction states.

  1. Delivery plan

Modernise the visual hierarchy across Profile and Billing, align typography and spacing to brand standards, strengthen the membership display to feel premium rather than transactional, and deliver annotated specs ready for engineering handoff.

Profile

A cleaner hierarchy, stronger typography, and a layout built around how members actually use their profile quickly checking or updating details between bookings and visits.

Settings &
Membership

Giving members control over their experience, from app appearance and position of the FAB on the screen for left handed users, to digital membership card, with Apple Wallet integration and QR-based connections.

Bookings

Upcoming reservations and booking history, designed to give members a quick, confident overview of their schedule across events, restaurants, hotels, and more.

Payments

A payment management flow explored across several design directions, balancing clarity, hierarchy, and the right level of control for members managing default and secondary cards.
